kites again

Dylan missed out on flying kites the day that we bought them , so he took Ethan out to show him how to really fly a kite. :) He got that kite way up in the sky without any assistance. They really enjoy flying these kites. Again, thanks Grandma Barber.

Their love.....

Looking at Ethan in this photo you would think that he has never drank a cup of Mountain Dew in his whole life. Once in a blue moon the "nice mom" will purchase Mountain Dew while grocery shopping. Before I have time to unload the groceries Ethan has already smelled it out and opened the bottle. Our hard-working Daddy might get a glass of the two liter I bought yesterday.
Dylan's love this year is Disney's Club Penguin. He would live on the computer chatting with other penguin's if the "monster mom" would allow him. As you can see Dylan's side kick isn't far behind in learning the tricks of the trade.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN LONG!!!!

And here I am again, one day late! Today we celebrated Ethan's forth birthday *tear*. Our baby is getting big. When I returned from work Anthony had the house spotless and ready for the party. He's the best! After we sang Happy Birthday and opened gifts we went to Jump!Zone. The kids had a great night and we enjoyed watching them while sipping on our coke. ;)
*Grandma Barber, Ethan received his card and birthday money. He purchased kites for himself and his brothers, in which, we made memories we'll never forget. Thanks.

Another day

Today we were greeted by a package from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson for Ethan's birthday. He was ecstatic! Thanks for the activities mom. As you can see Ethan shared his gift with his brother.
YAY! We got our W2's so we can file our taxes :) - thanks God for the kids. Unlike others, we look forward to tax time.
Dinner is grilled cheese and ravioli tonight - mom is TIRED!

up, up and away.....

Today has been an absolutely beautiful day, so we decided to go and get some kites. We had a blast as you can see and the boys had so much fun. Ethan is anxiously waiting for Dylan to get home from running club so he can fly kites with him. Poor Ethan ran so much that his belly started hurting.

The morning started off very early with a game of chess. As you can see in the pictures two chess pieces are missing and Ethan found a penny and an ostrich to replace them. He's so creative.

Dylan's Power point Presentation

This morning I was one proud mother. Dylan is one amazing child. No matter the situation he can put a smile on your face. I could go on and on......anyways, this morning I was invited to attend a power point presentation that Dylan had put together in his gifted/talented class. He did so well as you can see in the video (that I wasn't able to post). I was fortunate enough to get a friend of mine to keep Ethan and Bryson so Dylan wouldn't be distracted by them. I'm so glad I was able to go :)

After the main event was over I headed to my second home, Wal Mart. And, like always, Ethan and Bryson "HAD TO" ride the rides in the kids area. Hopefully, quarters will always be plentiful in my purse.

Our first yoga class

We had a productive day today. We headed to story time, at the library, bright and early this morning, went to the gym, came home and took a nap and still was able to attend the yoga class they have at the public library here in town tonight with Dylan. Dylan decided not to practice his yoga moves, instead he read many books. Next week he promised to do yoga with me - we'll see. I'll keep you all updated on his attendance.

At home with Daddy!

Today I went to work with not a worry in the world because Anthony was at home with the boys. He's such a good Daddy - I couldn't of chosen a better one. For lunch, I assume, Bryson made peanut and butter sandwiches with a little assistance.

When I got home for work we went on a bike ride. Not knowing the route we were going to take, we took off. The picture above is of Ethan and Bryson in the bike stroller. They are rapidly growing out of it and we're in need of another. Anthony had the additional 100 lbs. attached to his bike and made the ride very painful for him. I was beginning to think that we were biking Mt. McKinley until we finally returned home - the hills were never ending!

Bryson's first dental visit

Today we woke up to beautiful snow flurries! As you can tell in the picture I posted we didn't have much accumulation. I immediately decided to make beef stew and then off to the gym we went.

Daddy joined us at the dentist today, so things went very smoothly. It was Bryson's first visit at a dentist office and he was perfect. We did get the dreaded news that Dylan will need braces in order to have the "perfect" smile. Unfortunately, Tricare will not pay 1% of the bill. So, off to work I go. :) Ethan was the angel child and the dental hygenist just loved him!

Ethan is.....

very random! Tonight we had Cameron over to play and Ethan had to dress up for him. He chose one his more intimidating costumes, the TRANSFORMER. Dylan is always a team player and plays right along. Anthony and I can only smile. :)

I guess Mommy was too late getting Bryson into his bed. I found him fast asleep, in a pillowcase, in the hallway.

Dylan was concerned about his hair freezing if he left for the bus stop with a wet head. This is where I found him this morning. :)

The very beginning of "PROJECT 365"

Beginning this day, January 13, 2009, I will attempt to take at least one picture of our daily adventures for the next 365 days. I believe this project will be well worth the pain. It'll be something we'll be able to cherish for a very long time to come. Jump on our wagon and enjoy the ride!
**This picture was taken of Ethan and Bryson while enjoying a game of "Hot Hoops" together. They play very well together and I'm so very thankful of this.**
